Dear Community or Church,
Hi, my name is Richard Kong and I am your friend. I am part of different clubs at the college: Student Government Association, Campus Crusades for Christ, Volunteer club and the International club. As an International Student the desire of my heart is to bring International Students together and learn about American Culture. Students from other countries don’t know many people and could use the close fellowship of Christians.
The reason I am writing this letter is because I would like to plan a Thanksgiving Dinner for the International students, with the help from Campus Crusade for Christ and churches like yours. I am in need of small donations of food; paper goods or money to be able to prepare a nice Thanksgiving dinner for the International Students. Maybe some of your church members would like to invite an International Student to their house for Thanksgiving dinner. Your help would be greatly appreciated. God is calling us to be disciples and to make disciples. Reaching the foreign communities here and is my calling and I hope to make this Thanksgiving great for those who are not able go home to be with their family. Your response to this letter would be a blessing from God and I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you for your time. God Bless!!
